The Prince’s Foundation for Building Communities has become a partner of the International Garden Cities Institute.

The Foundation aims to get people involved in making communities more sustainable. They work with everyone from local residents' groups to governments to make it happen.

The Foundation has a long interest in Garden Cities and in 2007 held a workshop to envisage the plans Ebenezer Howard might have produced, had Letchworth been conceived as a sustainable new town for the 21st century.
