The Institute is to feature in a documentary on BBC Radio 4, exploring whether garden cities are the answer to our housing crisis or not and whether Ebenezer Howard’s original philosophy still works today.

Architectural historian Dan Cruickshank interviewed our academic partner Dr Stéphane Sadoux in Hampstead Garden Suburb this month, having earlier travelled to Letchworth to speak to historian Josh Tidy about the world’s first Garden City and to interview our Academic Director Dr Susan Parham.

The programme will feature in the 11am documentary strand in the autumn.
